Providing motorcycle safety escort for cyclists

	ABOUT SERF	The Safety Escort Riders of Florida was formed as a way to organize motorcycle riders who want to combine their favorite pastime with providing a service to their community. Most of our members are first aid and CPR certified so that they can provide emergency assistance to cyclists while patrolling charity or club bicycle rides. No membership dues or fees are required of members. Services are provided to charity events at no cost although our riders appreciate receiving t-shirts and/or food when they are being provided to other participants. There is a nominal charge per motorcycle to cover fuel and expenses for non-charity events. This charge varies based on number of motorcycles and length of ride but is normally $2.50 per hour per motorcycle.
